Veterinary Emergency Referral Center (VERC) in Norman, OK is pleased to officially announce an extension of surgical referral services.
Dr. Skip Tangner DVM, MS, Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons has extended his expertise to provide orthopedic and soft tissue surgery to the community served by VERC.
Dr. Tangner is a board-certified surgeon who has served Oklahoma City, Wichita Falls, and Tulsa since 1986. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and did a postdoctoral residency at Texas A&M before returning to Oklahoma City to establish a specialty surgery referral practice where he owned and operated his own business for more than 30 years.
When not in the operating room, Dr. Tangner’s scalpel is replaced with a fishing pole. He is a wonderfully kind family man, avid outdoorsman, and fisherman.
Dr. Tangner is available for scheduled procedures at VERC Norman on Mondays beginning September 12, 2022. Please see below to submit a Surgical Referral form along with your patient’s medical records and completed diagnostics. Upon receiving your referral, our team will contact your client and schedule their visit accordingly. You may also contact our office via phone or email for further information on general pricing or scheduling of procedures.
