Natalie's passion for the veterinary industry started at a young age. Initially aspiring to become a veterinarian, she discovered her true calling while shadowing at a small animal general practice during her senior year of high school. Witnessing the work of veterinary technicians, Natalie realized that they had the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experiences she desired in a career.
Early in her career, Natalie ventured into academia at OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she worked with fourth-year veterinary students. This experience ignited her love for teaching and helping shape the future of the profession. As a licensed veterinary technician for 19 years, Natalie actively seeks opportunities to develop others and contribute to the growth of the veterinary profession.
Natalie knew she was in the right profession during her time at the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Working with Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, and Cardiology services, she witnessed the endless opportunities for learning and personal growth, solidifying her belief that she had chosen the right path.
Outside of work, Natalie is married to her high school sweetheart and has two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her beloved goats, which she considers the best pets ever. Natalie is actively involved in her children's extracurricular activities and gives back to her profession by participating in the local Veterinary Technology program
